Nearly 1,000 more Apple products have been stolen from New Yorkers so far this year over the same period in 2012, according to NYPD crime data obtained by amNewYork.

Citi Bike reaches 250,000 rides
Citi Bike riders have been getting mileage out of the bike share program, lodging more than 250,000 trips since its Memorial Day launch, Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan announced Sunday.
Currently, 40,000 annual Citi Bike members have signed up since Memorial Day, with 32,000 daily and weekly memberships sold since the program went public on June 2.
