  • Actor Nick Turturro is a really big fan of the New York Yankees

My mind started wandering during Bosox-Yankees, so I drifted over to the MLB Network just in time to see John Boccabella hit a three-run, walk-off homer off Bruce Dal Canton to lift the Expos over the Pirates, 10-7, at Parc Jarry on Sept. 2, 1970.

Which in turn reminded me I was supposed to tell you about the start of a two-part series on MLB Network called "I Breathe Baseball" that premieres at 9 p.m. Sunday.

The show documents the Yankees fandom of actor Nick Turturro, who is seen at the stadium, at home and hanging out with his brother, fellow actor John (Billy Martin) Turturro.

Nick also plays one-on-one stickball against Johnny Damon in the Bronx.
