  • 'Beer Money' debuts Amber brew

Important sports media questions pour into headquarters every day, none more pressing and perplexing than this:

Why does SNY replace its cheerful, attractive, talented female "Beer Money" co-hosts every darn season?

First it was Julie Alexandria (who transitioned after one season to "Mets Weekly"). Then Alexi Panos. Now Amber Wilson is on the job, presumably for this one and only season.

Turns out the built-in obsolescence is by design.

The network believes having a different co-host every season signals to viewers that the shows (which frequently are re-run) are fresh.

The show even changed its male co-host this year, transitioning from Chris Carlin, who originated the role, to Oceanside High alum Dan Schachner

So, now you know. Any other questions?
