Big East goes bust in NCAAs
Memo to self: Next time you fill out an NCAA bracket, pay no attention to the college basketball scribes' season-long gushing over the Big East.
Sigh.
Onward: On my Twitter feed, I just posted CBS' plans for dividing up the nation's TV markets during its Friday windows.
In Window 1, 72 percent of the country will get Minnesota-Xavier, thankfully not including New York. We're among the 17 percent with Cornell-Temple.
Speaking of Cornell . . . Only our friends at the Times would mark the best first day in the history of the NCAA Tournament by putting a story about the Cornell radio announcer on the front page of their sports section.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Well, maybe there is. But I'll take it.
