Brett Favre no longer an NFL guy, still a 'Wrangler guy'

Just got off the phone with Jenni Broyles, senior marketing communications manager for Wrangler. We discussed Brett Favre's status as a pitchman for the jeans now that he (for now) is done with the NFL.

She said Favre will remain a "Wrangler guy," including a new campaign launching over the next couple of months.

"For us, whether he's playing or enjoying retirement, he's still a Wrangler guy," Ms. Broyles said. "He truly embodies the Wrangler values and the Wrangler lifestyle . . . He hangs out with the family, enjoys the outdoors."

Wrangler's Favre ads are shot in his actual yard in Mississippi, by the way.

Favre began with Wrangler two years ago. He and Dale Earnhardt Jr. are the company's big sports endorsers.

Those two are kind of obvious, though.

How about thinking outside the box. Shaq?
