OK, it's a little weird. But, politics aside, let's cut ESPN some slack here.
The Bristol Stompers have eliminated booth guests such as Christian Slater during the action, so the least we can do to show our gratitude is sit through Boomer talking to whichever guy is our future President and the guy who will lose to him. Can't we?
Berman talking to Libertarian Party VP candidate Wayne Root would have been more entertaining and more topical to football, but you can't have everything.
Speaking of Root, did I hear an ad for his sports handicapping service on WFAN today? Oy. That's not good.
