  • Chris Russo's show not on Internet yet, but will be

A number of e-mailers and commenters have asked about Sirius not offering Chris Russo's new show, "Mad Dog Unleashed," as part of its live streaming Internet service for subscribers.

The reason is for now, Russo's Channel 123 is used for live sports at other times of the day, and usually Sirius has the rights to such events on the radio but not on the Internet.

Once Russo's channel becomes a 24-hour-a-day service, possibly by late October, the plan is to offer it on the Internet. (That will preclude extensive live cut-ins during his show to events for which Sirius does have satellite radio rights.)

    I hope that made sense.

Here is my Tuesday newspaper column about Russo's first official show.
