Happy 50th birthday Sunday to Christopher Russo of Sirius XM Satellite Radio, who Wednesday appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman."
How did it go?
Alas, there was not much non-sports banter, not even any shots at Mike Francesa from Dave.
Chris got to stay for two segments, but it was pretty much all baseball and football talk. That's not what I recorded the show to hear!
(Chris did say that in the mid-1990s the Yankees' payroll was not as "exuberant" as it is now.)
