Drew Rosenhaus sent me a book

In my early months on the beat, I used to wonder why publicists hadn't caught on to the fact I am willing/able to review sports books and thus hadn't buried me in books they hoped I'd review.
Be careful what you wish for. Now they all know where to find me, and the pile has grown as I try to find time to read between blog posts and sleeping.
I usually focus on local stuff, which is why there is little chance I'll get to "Next Question," the new book from agents Drew and Jason Rosenhaus.
I did read the chapter about their recruitment of Jeremy Shockey, which involved five Rams cheerleaders and a call from Ernie Accorsi to Shockey assuring the player the Giants had nothing against negotiating with a Rosenhaus client.
Anyway, I can't justify reading the entire book when I have yet to get around to the recent "Cajun Racing" by long-time Newsday copy editor, betting columnist and horse racing scribe Ed McNamara.
As every writer knows, it's important to keep the copy editors on your good side.
