Happy 15th anniversary to Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan, who on Feb. 23, 1994, attracted 48.5 percent of U.S. homes to their showdown at the Winter Olympics - making it the highest-rated TV program of the past quarter century and the sixth-highest ever.
Only Super Bowls XVI and XVII beat it among sports events.
It is unlikely in this new, fractured media environment that any show ever will surpass that figure again.
