Fordham students humor aging newspaper blogger

Just got back from the Bronx, where I spoke to a group of Fordham students who work at WFUV about a wide range of topics.

They were kind enough to ask many good questions and not nod off during the answers.

I was just glad that I drew as large a crowd as Gary Cohen did when I observed him address a similar group of a couple of years back.

WFUV's sports talk show, "One on One," predates WFAN by 13 years, by the way.

The station's alums include Vin Scully, Sal Marchiano, Michael Kay, Mike Breen, Bob Papa, John Giannone, Chris Carrino, Spero Dedes, Tony Reali and many other sports media figures.

Take that, Syracuse!
