Jints-Pokes averaged 24.8 million viewers, the most in the four-season history of NBC's "Sunday Night Football," the most for any prime-time, regular-season NFL game since 1997 and nearly double the figure for the Emmys (12.5 million).

The previous high for "Sunday Night Football" was 23.1 million when the same two teams played Dec. 14 of last year.

Fox's late afternoon window Sept. 13 - mostly featuring Redskins-Giants - averaged 25.1 million viewers, giving Big Blue the two biggest TV audiences of the young season.

Football ratings continue to be absolutely, positively ridonkulous compared to non-football television programs.
