Good column by Lupica here about a Giants fan who was in Denver for Big Blue's last visit there on Sept. 10, 2001.
If he were not there, he would have been at his job as a bond trader for Cantor Fitzgerald the next morning.
He has spent the ensuing eight years taking full advantage of his fortunate break, and honoring friends and colleagues who were less fortunate.
I was in Denver for that Giants-Broncos game, too. But my memories of that road trip are much less interesting than Tony Sichenzio's, so I will not bore you with them here.
Maybe I will tomorrow.
