Heat-Celtics sets cable TV mark

TNT averaged 7.43 million viewers for Tuesday night's Heat-Celtics game, making it the most-watched regular-season NBA game ever on cable television, surpassing a 1996 game between the Bulls and Lakers.

"[Backman] doesn't, for me, match up with Sandy Alderson. Sandy Alderson is kind of a very thoughtful, you know, he’s classy, he’s graceful. You know, Wally’s kind of that chewing tobacco down the front of his shirt sort of a guy. I’m not sure they match up perfectly with each other. I think Backman’s an interesting candidate that you have to consider but I think his chances [became] less with Sandy Alderson getting hired as general manager.”
