  • Islanders' MacDonald wins battle of Nova Scotia

I like it when the locals play weekday afternoon games. It helps keep me away from talk radio.

For example: The Isles just beat the Pens in a shootout, which ended with Nova Scotia's Joey MacDonald stoning Nova Scotia's Sidney Crosby.

Said MSG Plus' Howie Rose: "A thousand moves, and MacDonald stops them all!"

Cool game-winner by Jeff Tambellini from much farther out than you usually see shootout shots taken.

    Back to the radio. Sigh.
