Fox Sports 1, which will launch Aug. 17, plans a daily NFL news-oriented show, featuring personalities that include Terry Bradshaw and information man Jay Glazer.

“Between the two of us you have about nine personalities,’’ Glazer said.

Glazer said the program would be “a Fox-ified show,’’ presumably meaning a relaxed, free-wheeling approach to NFL matters. Most important for Glazer will be having a greatly expanded forum to share his information beyond the few minutes he gets on Fox’s Sunday pregame show,.

“I have four minutes on Sunday, and now I have every day,’’ he said. “[In the past] I reported two percent of what I’m told. Now if you really want to know what’s going on in the league, this is the place to watch it.

“I’m not just giving you lip service. You know I know these guys better than anybody else and I just don’t have an outlet.’’

Glazer has had a long rivalry with ESPN’s newsgathering forces, at times accusing them of following him on stories without credit.

“Not anymore; that’s the best part,’’ he said. “Now I’ll be out there shouting from the rafters, ‘Turn on Fox Sports now!’ Now they can’t steal the stuff anymore. They can’t do that anymore. And even if they do have a story I’ll be able to give a different insight than they have.’’
