Jeff Nelson of sainted Yanks old guard on MLB Net

Speaking of late 1990s Yankees (see post below), Jeff Nelson will be a guest analyst for MLB Network today and tomorrow, and if all goes well he could be in the mix for a permanent gig.
Speaking of the MLB Network, I incorrectly stated in my live chat Wednesday that the network will simulcast local telecasts for its Thursday game of the week. In fact, the pictures will come from local stations but MLB Net will use its own announcers, to be determined.
