Jets expand cheerleader roster, Giants still hold at zero

Why would I write a Sunday newspaper column about the Jets' cheerleaders and Giants' lack of same on the day of the final baseball game at Yankee Stadium?
Heck, I don't know. I suppose I just like to mix things up whenever there is an overwhelming topic covered thoroughly elsewhere in the paper.
I wrote about the Yankees' finale in Friday's paper, and will do so again Monday and Tuesday, so I've covered those bases, and now I've covered Jenn Sterger's bases.
This isn't nearly as nutty as the first Sunday of 2007, when on a day the Giants and Jets both had playoff games, I wrote about . . . The Golf Channel!
