Jets PSL auction is roughly half over now!

Here are the top five per-seat prices for the Jets' PSL auction Wednesday: $52,500, $27,700, $26,300, $26,300, $25,600.

Prices seem to be moderating, but I'm no expert. I'm waiting for the dust to settle when the auctions end Monday, or when Darren Rovell of CNBC gets back from the World Series to explain it all to me.

The Jets say their final batch of auctioned seats will be posted beginning Friday and include a pair of front-row seats near the 50 that will close at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

To the extent the coaches and players would like to see those seats sell for the highest price possible, I strongly recommend they not lose to the Chiefs.

The Jets also said they do not expect to sell all of the seats in the Coaches Club by the end of the auction. Hmm. I'm looking into what that means.

First, I shall now write a Friday newspaper column.
