Jets seek Sun Life rise
Sports Business Daily reports the Dolphins' stadium will be renamed Sun Life Stadium, just in time for the Pro Bowl Jan. 31 and the Jets-Vikings game Feb. 7.
In the meantime, here is this week's highlight from NFL studio shows:
NFL Network's Michael Irvin: "The Jets cannot stop Philip Rivers. He has too many weapons."
That's all for now. I have to write more about the Jets for the newspaper.
Enjoy Devils-Islanders at 2 p.m. on MSG Plus and WFAN, whose contract to carry Devils games has created an awkward situation for a sports talk radio station the day after he Jets' most significant upset in 41 years.
If you're not into Devils hockey on the radio, 1050 ESPN presumably will be talking Jets this afternoon.
(UPDATE: Oops. Forgot Knicks are on 1050 this afternoon.)
And check Newsday.com early and often for updates on Gang Green.
