As of now, Joe Torre is scheduled for only three interviews during his book tour:

Jan. 30 with CNN's Larry King

Feb. 3 with NPR's "All Things Considered"

Feb. 3 with WFAN's Mike Francesa

Torre also is scheduled for four book signings Feb. 3 and 4, two in Manhattan and two in New Jersey.

(UPDATE: Uh, oh. Dueling Hal Steinbrenner interviews! Now Michael Kay is interviewing him on 1050 and not getting much more out of him than Mike Francesa did earlier in an interview being replayed on WFAN. Where the heck is Hank when we need him?)

Speaking of YES, Torre does address the 2005 controversy over the network and/or team allegedly planting post-game questions designed to make him look bad.

"After the season was over I said, 'Forget it. We're not going to do it anymore. I don't want your money,'" Torre said, referring to a contractual deal that allowed YES to ask him the first several questions after games.
