Joe Torre plans two-day book tour whirlwind in NY area
On Tuesday I wrote a post outlining Joe Torre's upcoming book tour, then immediately heard from various readers about other appearances they believe are scheduled.
Here's the deal, straight from the people arranging things:
Torre is scheduled for two whirlwind days in the New York area Tuesday and Wednesday, during which he will conduct whatever interviews and signings are to be done after his Friday night gig on Larry King's show, which he will do from his L.A.-area home.
Five interviews and four signings are finalized, but more could be added, perhaps including "Late Show with David Letterman" Wednesday night.
The final schedule will be arranged by the publisher and Torre's people over the next day or two.
One element still up in the air: Whether Torre will speak to print journalists, perhaps at one of the book signings.
By Thursday, Joe will be headed back home to prepare for Dodgers spring training.
