  • Knicks on TNT/ESPN 11 times

We can only imagine how many national television appearances the Knicks would have made if they had signed LeBron James and/or Dwyane Wade and/or Chris Bosh.

Well, actually, we don't need to imagine it. We can just look at the Heat's TV schedule.

Even so, it's clear that the Knicks' place in the media firmament has risen significantly over where it was during the dark days of recent seasons.

ESPN plans to show seven Knicks games during 2010-11, which is up from three last season and one the season before that.

TNT has four Knicks games in the coming season, up from zero each of the past two years.

The last time TNT carried a Knicks game, they lost to the Celtics,104-59, on Nov. 29, 2007.

Time apparently has healed even that wound.
