A couple of interesting reads for your New Year's Eve morning:
1. The economic issues facing our nation and world have seeped into the usually sturdy sports business, according to Forbes. This will be excellent news for shrimp, as the NFL plans to cut back on Super Bowl festivities this year, and thus on the terrible carnage that usually visits the shrimp population before the big event.
2. Even Stephon Marbury is blogging now. How can I compete with lines such as this: "It's the principle of the whole thing. It's really not about the money but it's about the money. Feel me?"
