'Last Play at Shea' at Citi Saturday
Happy 45th anniversary of the Beatles playing Shea.
Speaking of which, don't forget to attend Saturday night's showing at Citi Field of Billy Joel's "Last Play at Shea."
I love Joel's description of the film in Glenn Gamboa's story here: "a chick flick for guys."
As I've written before, it made me tear up - no easy task.
It turns out Newsday is one of the sponsors of the Citi showing, but I was gushing about the event way before I knew that. Just in case you were wondering.
