Interesting tidbit from our friends at Going Five Hole about former Ranger Matthew Barnaby possibly being in the mix for the ESPN analyst role vacated by Barry Melrose.
Even though ESPN does not carry live NHL games, its analyst gig is a high profile one, given the visibility and influence of SportsCenter.
The amiable Melrose will be a tough act to follow.
