Mets ratings on SNY fall far

SNY’s average rating for Mets games this season is 2.3 percent of area homes, down 29 percent from this time last year.
That is the third-worst local ratings decline in Major League Baseball, according to the Sports Business Journal, after the Rays’ 37 percent and Astros’ 34.
Thanks to the size of the New York market, the Mets still rank fourth in average households per game with 173,000. The Yankees are first at 309,000, down eight percent from last year.
