Mets take Pepsi challenge, ad Citi Field partnership

The Mets announced this Monday that Pepsi has signed on as a "signature partner" at Citi Field.

This is no surprise given the 37 x 89-foot Pepsi sign I saw Sunday looming over the 1,284-seat "Pepsi Porch," which extends over the playing field in deep right.

Evidently, people still consume sugary soft drinks even in a recession - perhaps even more so than usual.
