Mike Piazza homer was memorable

Thanks for all of the feedback on the latest installment of our 2000s in review series, this one focused on the decade's best games.
I don't mind at all that everyone is mad at me for including a Red Bulls game. I expected that.
But I am troubled by the other common complaint I've heard today: That we ignored the game in which Mike Piazza's homer beat the Braves in the first game after 9/11.
Not so. It wasn't on the best games list, but it was No. 1 on our list of most memorable moments of the decade.
Strange day so far. Craig Carton and Mike Francesa rarely agree, but this morning on WFAN Carton echoed Francesa's recent observation that no one reads my stuff anymore.
Then Boomer Esiason, bless his Long Island heart, jumped in to say he still gets Newsday.com for free as part of his Optimum Online subscription, and he even lauded some of the site's new features.
