Two weeks ago for ESPN's Sunday night game between the Bosox and Bronx  Bombers, 12.3 percent of homes in the Boston market watched compared to 10.3 in New York.

That is a smaller gap than usual between Boston and New York, a fact I attributed to Tom Brady's spot on "Entourage" Aug. 9.

Things were closer to normal for last night's rematch on ESPN.

In Boston, 14.6 percent of homes watched vs. 9.7 in New York.

Must have been because of all those Giants fans watching Kate Mara on "Entourage."

(Nationally, baseball averaged 3.7 percent of homes with ESPN in major markets. Pretty good for baseball.)

That's all for today, people. Enjoy the March 12, 2009, Islanders-Canadiens game at 8 p.m. on MSG Plus.
