Pedro Martinez is funny even when he doesn't say anything
Pedro Martinez was having some fun with the media in the locker room after Game 5.
"No talking, no talking," he said. "Earn your duties. Be creative, like always."
Later, he ducked into a restricted area, saying, "Wait for me. This is waiting like remember how Manny used to do it?"
In other words, the wait would last a very long time.
"Wait for me here today," Martinez finally said, "and I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Indeed, he will.
Pedro is scheduled for his latest command media performance Tuesday at Yankee Stadium, followed by another on the mound Wednesday.
