AshleyMadison.com, the publicity-savvy website that aims to facilitate relationships between married people and people with whom they are not married, is at it again.

TMZ.com reported Thursday the site's founder, Noel Biderman, had sent a letter to New Meadowlands Stadium CEO Mark Lamping offering to pay $25 million over five years for naming rights to the building.

    Two things:

    1. Five million dollars per year is well below what the Jets and Giants are looking for from a naming rights deal.

    2. Even if the site was offering four times as much, there still is zero chance of a deal happening.

Before each of the past two Super Bowls, Ashley Madison got much (free) publicity mileage out of having its television ads rejected for use on the game telecast.

(UPDATE: Two different p.r. people have offered me interviews with Mr. Biderman this afternoon. Sigh.)
