Russell Crowe as Al Davis?

Thank you to everyone who participated in our contest to offer interesting casting options for the upcoming Vince Lombardi biopic starring Robert De Niro.

There was some really weird stuff out there. I'm going to go with Bob Buscavage of Moriches for this unusual selection:
George Halas...Ernest Borgnine
Tom Landry...James Gandolfini
Max McGee...Jeff Bridges
Al Davis...Russell Crowe

James Gandolfini? Hmm. I see him as more of the Abe Gibron type.
