Rutgers names its radio analyst as athletic director
Rutgers has tabbed Tim Pernetti, a CBS College Sports executive and a Rutgers football radio analyst opposite Chris Carlin, as its new athletic director.
Not clear whether Carlin was a finalist for the job.
I attended the Providence-Rutgers women's basketball game Saturday at cost of $40 for a family of four, including four hot dogs and four sodas.
This was an example of the many affordable sports alternatives for those who prefer not to mortgage their children's financial futures to attend major league professional events.
