Sandra Bullock joins Hilary Swank in sports flick annals
A laurel and hearty handshake to Sandra Bullock for joining Hilary Swank ("Million Dollar Baby") as the only Best Actress winners to come out of sports flicks . . . as far as I can tell.
Unlike Swank, Ms. Bullock did not play an athlete. No matter. We'll take it.
Sports movie fans can't be choosy; we rarely get the big prizes.
I'm just glad Cablevision and Disney made enough negotiating progress to get the show back on the air about 13 minutes into the proceedings.
