Sheepshead Bay Islanders fans rejoice

I was on the Belt Parkway this week and decided to test the range of WKRB, the Kingsborough Community College-based station the Islanders signed with as they seek to extend the reach of their radio coverage.
It was, um, modest.
It came in loud and clear around Sheepshead Bay, but it was pretty much gone by the Queens border to the east and the Verrazano to the west.
Hey, it's better than nothing. Enjoy, Islanders fans of southern Brooklyn!
