  • Sid Rosenberg to host midday show on Florida's WQAM

WatchDog has learned that Sid Rosenberg has inked a two-year deal with WQAM in Miami to be that station's 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. host, starting Sept. 7.

Rosenberg also will host the Dolphins postgame show.

Sid openly has longed to return to New York since leaving WFAN and was discussed as a potential sidekick on Mike Francesa's show, but there was resistance to that idea within the executive ranks of CBS Radio, leaving Rosenberg to find a new landing place in Miami.

Until recently he had toiled at 790 The Ticket, another south Florida station.
