SNY hosts sports media summit
SNY made sports media history Tuesday night by assembling the greatest collection of sports business and media columnists in this century at its Manhattan studios.
Alas, none of the passersby who peered through the windows seemed to care, unless they noticed that Ron Darling was hanging out watching as seven us of recorded the network's second annual sports media year in review show.
Kudos to Blue Point native Andrew Fegyveresi, SNY's p.r. guru, for making it happen. It was the first time the Post's Phil Mushnick, the Daily News' Bob Raissman, the Times' Richard Sandomir and me were in the same place at the same time.
Also on the roster: SI's Richard Deitsch, USA Today's Mike McCarthy and Sports Business Journal's John Ourand. Chris Carlin hosted.
The show premieres at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. Even if it stinks, there won't be anyone to critique it. Genius!
