  • Stanley Cup Game 6 draws biggest rating for Cup Finals in 36 years

    The Blackhawks' Stanley Cup-clinching victory over the Flyers Wednesday night averaged 5.8 percent of homes in major markets - the highest such figure for any Cup Final game in 36 years - since a 7.6 rating for Game 6 of the 1974 series between the Bruins and Flyers on NBC.

    Wednesday night's rating peaked at 8.0 percent of homes during overtime.

    The 5.8 rating was up 41 percent from last year's Game 6 between the Red Wings and Penguins.

    The top 10 markets in percentage of homes watching and percentage of homes with a TV in use that were watching:
