Still no word from Astoria on Mike Francesa sidekick

I have indicated in the newspaper, on the blog and in email responses to readers that I thought the Mike Francesa sidekick thing would be resolved by the end of this week.
Well, the week is about over, and there is no end in sight. I can't even offer you a speculative update. WFAN's decision-makers have brought out the Cone of Silence on this.
At least as far as I can tell. If you could see me in the basement right now, you would see me shrug.
Hmm. Maybe I should sell my simulcasting rights.
I still believe YES is leaning heavily toward matching MSG's generous offer to carry Francesa's show beginning in 2009. So MSG could put a camera in my basement and capture the excitement as I watch Francesa do his WFAN show on YES. And shrugging.
