  • Take cover! Price of Queens knishes crashes!

I made a reference in my column Monday about Citi Field to the concession prices, which mostly include the standard ballpark markups but are not outrageous.

Well, the Mets are proud that many returning items are less expensive than they were at Shea, by an average of about 6.5 percent, led by the 29 percent drop in the cost of knishes.

One nice touch: a $5 kids meal including a dog, soda and chips.

Of course, there still are plenty of pricey new dining options for sale, from fresh sushi available to all to heaven-knows-what in the fancy club facilities.
