'The Wrestler' well worth seeing, but not for squeamish

Finally saw "The Wrestler" Saturday night, which is sort of in my jurisdiction, as it is about a sort-of sport.
As advertised, Mickey Rourke is excellent, as is Marisa Tomei. (She's 44? Really?)
The movie works mostly as a character study, as the plot is not particularly original or complicated.
Overall, well worth seeing, although seeing much of it will be difficult for the squeamish.
Memo to self: Next Valentine's Day, choose a movie more romantic than one involving the use of a staple gun by one bare-chested man upon another.
