  • WatchDog on strike in solidarity with Stephon Marbury

I was going to write a post with leftover stuff from my Friday column items about the MLB Network and Tony Siragusa, but really, what's the point?

Those of you who are not working have no need to goof off by reading this. And those of you who are working are too mad at the world to partake in lighthearted sports blog fare.

So in honor of my old pal Stephon Marbury, I don't feel like posting anymore today.

Sue me. Or suspend me. (Kidding, kidding. Did I mention Cablevision owns both Newsday and the Knicks?)

Maybe I'll read a nice sports book to pass the afternoon, such as "Passing Game," about Benny Friedman, who did a stellar job chucking the oblong spheroid for the Giants a few years before Eli came along.

Enjoy "Syracuse Sidelines" on SNY at 4 p.m.
