WFAN continues to rule ratings

In the post below I referenced the strong ratings at WFAN, which for now means there is no incentive for the station to think about replacements on any of its three most visible shows.

Here are some ratings numbers for men ages 25-54 from the second quarter (April through June) to explain that further:

From 6 to 10 a.m., WFAN ranked first with an average of 6.9 percent of the audience compared to 1050 ESPN's 1.9 and 20th place.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., WFAN ranked first with a 7.1 and 1050 ranked 23th with a 1.3.

From 3 to 7 p.m., WFAN ranked first with a 7.3 and 1050 was 20th with a 2.0.

The 10 to 3 figure was helped by the strong first two hours of Mike Francesa's afternoon show, but if you separate out the 10 to 1 slot co-hosted by Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts, WFAN still was a close second in the market in the station's key demographic.
