WFAN led 1050 ESPN in spring ratings for mid-days

Several readers - well, OK, only three - wondered what is going on in mid-days in the wake of my post about local radio ratings for spring in mornings and afternoons.

Ask and ye shall receive:

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the important men ages 25-54 demographic, WFAN ranked fourth in the New York market with an average of 4.3 percent of radios in use. 1050 ESPN was 21st at 1.5.

Among all humans - including women! - in that time slot, WFAN was 16th at 2.3, and 1050 ESPN was 28th at 0.8.

I hope that's it for me this Sunday. Enjoy the season premiere of "Mad Men" on AMC tonight.

Hey, wait a minute . . . Cablevision owns AMC. So doesn't that mean that soon January Jones of "Mad Men" and I will be teammates?
