Yankees' new stadium plan has taken some hit$
One more thing about the matter of the Yankees selling their most expensive seats at a slower pace than their modestly priced ones, chronicled here:
Yankees COO Lonn Trost said when the process began that part of the strategy was to use the well-off fans able to pay for ultra-expensive seats to subsidize less costly seats elsewhere in Yankee Stadium.
So I have to assume the unsold inventory of premium seats, combined with other factors such as the crumbling of the planned stadium sponsorship by Bank of America, has negatively affected the Yankees' plans to pay for their new sports palace.
Let's all keep an eye on this moving forward, shall we?
