It's difficult to believe all that meshugas from last winter about Joe Torre's book ripping Alex Rodriguez and Selena Robert's article implicating Alex Rodriguez and Alex Rodriguez's hip sidelining Alex Rodriguez was part of the same season as this one.
But baseball season never ends, and now the actual baseball part might extend beyond Election Day.
That's absurd, obviously, but it doesn't change the fact this looks on paper to be an excellent World Series matchup - maybe even one that will last more than five games for the first time since the Yankees' last visit in 2003.
