Breaking news: Dolphins-Jets game moved to 4:15

The NFL just announced that the Dolphins-Jets, Jaguars-Ravens and Eagles-Cowboys games will be played at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, with the previously announced prime time tilt being Broncos-Chargers.

So the Jets will know before they take the field whether they have a shot at the AFC East title based on whether the Patriots beat the Bills early, but will not know whether they have a shot at a wild card berth, as the Ravens are playing at the same time.

It was important that the NFL have either the Pats or Ravens play at the same time as the Jets - or after them - so the Dolphins would not potentially enjoy the advantage of facing a team that is out of contention.
