Cablevision, which owns Newsday, announced that its board of directors has authorized management to move forward with a spinoff of Madison Square Garden.

I read the news release, which went way over my head.

More on this later once someone who understands it interprets it for me. But apparently there are no current plans to sell any of this stuff, including WatchDog.

Speaking of WatchDog, WFAN's Craig Carton just asked on the air whether I have been fired. He said he couldn't find the blog and criticized our recent Web redesign.

Then Boomer Esiason found it in two clicks.

Regarding the Web redesign: It's only been a week. We are working out the kinks. Regarding my employment status: Not fired. Yet.
