Neil Best leaves no stone unturned in the world of sports media.

Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, Tom Izzo, Rocky Lockridge, etc.

Sorry about lack of blogging today. I'll try to give you enough in this post to keep you occupied for a while.

Thanks to Syosset's own Jimmy Traina of SI.com's Hot Clicks for a couple of excellent video links today.

One is above. The other can be found via Hot Clicks here, in which Tom Izzo discusses modern media and LeBron James in a fascinating news conference at Michigan State.

I'm going to go back to Switzerland-Spain now. (Oh, my!) But don't forget to watch "June 17, 1994," on ESPN Wednesday night and Game 7 of Celtics-Lakers on ABC Thursday.

The last time the Celtics and Lakers played in a Game 7, I blew off the Rocky Lockridge vs. Tae-Jin Moon bout in Anchorage - at which I think I was supposed to write a sidebar or something - to watch the basketball game on TV.

My editor was unamused. But I was young and reckless.
